ABOUT OUR GARDEN ART

Our offerings include: Celtic themed Wall Plaques and Stepping Stones, Goddess Plaques, Pet Memorial Stones, Gazing Bowls, and more. We offer an eclectic mix of traditional designs that you will not find anywhere else.

All our carved designs are conceived and sculpted in clay by Ann. Some pieces take several weeks to research and carve. We do not use digital means to create or reproduce our designs. All our designs require a separate mold, which is made by Jon, and each piece is cast by hand. Not every casting is successful, and we only choose the best castings to finish and create into our garden art. Careful hand-finishing and colored acid stains give our stones a weathered, antique appearance. As the final step, the piece is sealed with a weatherproof masonry sealer.

The plaques all have a sturdy hanger, and may be hung on a garden fence, wall or tree. The Garden Stones may be hung up or used as Stepping Stones. Our plaques may be placed in the garden, on a patio wall or fence, or in your home. Besides being a wonderful decorative accent for your home or garden, they make welcome gifts.

We also offer garden accent pieces such as: Galadriel’s Gazing Bowl, Mists of Avalon Gazing Bowl, and Goddess altar plaques.

ABOUT OUR STEPPING STONES & GARDEN PLAQUES

We make our Stepping Stones from cement (not a petroleum product such as plastic or resin). Cement withstands the elements much better than resin. Our original artwork is created by hand, after research and study to create historically inspired designs. All of our designs are copyrighted. Our plaques and stones are cast by hand and stained. Each one is unique and handmade. All our art made in our studio in Willits, Mendocino County, California, USA.

ADVICE ON HOW TO PLACE OUR STONES IN A GARDEN PATH

Decide where you would like to place the stones.

Mark where the stone will go, and out enough dirt so the stone is level with the earth’s surface. Then dig out a little more; add a bed of sand underneath to cushion the stone and make it level. Place the stone on the sand and gently rock it until it is level.

HOW DO I CARE FOR THE STONE?

Wash it off with a garden hose if it becomes dirty. You may want to renew the waterproof sealer each year. The two we recommend: Behr Low Lustre Sealer for concrete, or Quikcrete waterbased sealer. You can apply it with a foam or bristle brush. You can also allow the stone to weather naturally.
